Doors and Windows

I thought it would be fun to show you some of our selections for the house. The first picture is our front door. I just pasted these images together, so there will be a wood trim around these pieces in reality. Isn't it nice, though?

This is just a picture of a sample window. Most all of our windows will be 6 feet high, letting in lots of natural light. They will have white vinyl frames and are insulated, making them highly energy efficient. The windows in the front of the house will have muttons (the frames that divide the glass panels) between the glass, for easy cleaning. The windows in the back of the house will not have them, to have a better view of outside.

There are still many decisions to be made. We have narrowed down the brick and roof choices, but still need to select stucco. And, there's countless decisions to be made on the inside finishes. But, this is the fun part. Were still chugging along and getting those beams and trusses in place. The roof trusses, subflooring, and 2nd wall parts should arrive next week.
