Plumbing Stub outs & Vents

We had some visitors to our house on March 26th. My Memom and Aunt Glenda from Texas were in the state visiting their newest great granddaughter/great niece and came up to Jacksonville to see our house. We had a fun tour and lunch together. Thanks for coming up, it was great to see you!!

Me and Memom.

The brick masons came out a couple weeks ago and finished the brick around the meter. The mortor was still wet - but they are officially finished!

We had a ton of rain the last couple weeks. The trench for the sewer pipe coming into the house had dirt knocked in, raising up the pipe. More digging is in store . . . yipee . . .

The main thing we've been working on the last couple weeks is stubbing out the plumbing pipe and running the vents.

Here, Adam cuts off the sanitary pipe to the right height for the kitchen sink. The supply water is already in place.

This is the sink and toilet in the hall bath.

The Jack & Jill bathroom has a double sink.

The vent over the jack & jill bath - the different vents connect and then go up out the roof together in a 2" stack.

The kitchen sink is complete and ready for drywall.

The box for the refrigerator valve.

These pipes are going up to the future bathroom upstairs. This is in the laundry room, a sink will be here as well.

The master bathroom. The far left has the water supply for the whirlpool tub. There is a double lav (sink) and two vents going up.

Above the master bath, you can see some pipes for the future bathroom and vents coming up. The vents on this side of the house go up to a 3" stack.

We still need to pipe the showers and washer box, but we are mostly done with the plumbing pipes in the walls. The fireplace is going to be installed on Monday. We have bids for insulation and ductwork, which should start in the next couple weeks. Our cabinets are ordered . . . and I know we've done other things . . . but I don't remember everything. But, we are really coming along.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter!
