Painting Party

The painting party was a huge success, but let me back up a week first . . .

The front of the house is coming along. After painting the siding and trim, we installed some sconces and outlets.

The garage sconce.

Close up of the front door area.

We had 17 people come and go Saturday, May 1st for our painting party. Adam, his brother and dad spent the week prior priming all of the walls in preparation for Saturday. Check out our color selections and
progress . . .

Adam’s mom, Aunt Alice & Uncle Raymond painting the Office.

Stacy’s mom & dad painting the Living Room.

Josh rolling the Master Bedroom (Master Bath is the same color).

Clint gets ready to show us how to paint.

Lunch for everyone! Thanks again, Mom and Auntie, for providing such yummy food!

Alison & Janet painting the kitchen. This color is called Avocado.

Tim & Catherine in the Guest Bedroom, same color as kitchen.

I painted a red accent wall in the Dining Room.

My dad left his mark on our house.

Then, my mom couldn’t resist claiming her blue Bathroom.

Dan paints in a closet. Tight spaces are not fun to paint.

Looking into the Breakfast Nook.

Hope you enjoyed our colors, and the house that has made such progress. Thank you again to everyone who helped us paint!! Up next: tile (already delivered) and installation of outlets, switches & light fixtures. Stay tuned for even more changes.
